Cody and I are ready from day one, and we have a clear vision for LAX—a vision that puts YOU, the membership, first. This election isn’t about us as candidates; it's about ensuring that we all have the resources and support we deserve. It’s time for change. You deserve a leadership team that’s accessible, accountable and one that’s with you every day. Once elected, our focus will be on three core areas:

Growing Our Base
LAX is an incredible base. This base is full of dedicated, hardworking flight attendants who want the best and for LAX to thrive as it once used to. However, there’s still more to be done to ensure its growth and success, and we look forward to working together to make that happen.

·      Day one, our top priority is bringing back our displaced flight attendants. It’s time we take action —no more sending emails that go unanswered. We’ll collect data and build a strong case to bring our displaced members back to LAX. This isn’t just a win for us; it benefits the company too. More flight attendants at LAX means we will not have flight attendants being forced to commute while also decreasing the seniority subject to reserve. 

Providing Essential Resources
Clear communication and transparency are key to transforming our base. We’re committed to keeping you informed at all times.

·      Monthly Email Base Briefs: Regular updates from leadership on important issues, archived on the APFA website.

·      Quarterly Base Town Halls: Open forums for members to voice concerns, ask questions, and provide feedback.

·      Ongoing Training & Refresher Courses: Education on bidding, reserve, and base contract and scheduling, so you’re always prepared.

·      Utilizing Base Council Representatives: We’re committed to expanding the Base Council Representatives (BCR) team to better support you. By leveraging the strengths of our BCRs, we can provide a more robust support system for our members

Ensuring Accountability
We believe in accessibility and accountability and are committed to providing support to all members. Something very different than what we see happing today. Here’s how we’ll hold ourselves accountable to you:

·      Base Budget Transparency: The base budget is set up to support you and we should be held accountable to that. We are committed to having base finances available to anyone wanting to review.

·      Dedicated Base Contact Number: A direct line for calls and texts, staffed by base leadership and BCRs. You’ll always have someone to turn to. 

·      Next Business Day Response: We guarantee that all emails and phone calls will be responded to within one business day.
